Rules
This
page contains the constructed game rules for LEA PUBG: Mobile tournaments. All
players are bound to comply with rules and regulations stated below when
participating in LEA tournaments.
Common
Competitive Rules & Regulations
The below
mentioned rules and regulations apply to all gamers/participants that have
registered – or applied to participate in any tournament hosted the strategic
partner, LEA. These common rules apply across all gaming titles presented,
participant, spectators, managers, etc.
These rules will not be overthrown by any authority and is constructed by the
official strategic partner – LEA unless otherwise specified, approved by the
official board of LEA Tournaments.
LEA –
Ranked Tournaments
The rules
and conditions mentioned below is mandatory to all those participate/involved
in LEA Ranked Tournaments and is bound to apply in conjunction with in game
specific rules and regulations.

All
contact networks regarding specified and active- oncoming tournaments will be
shared through our social media platforms.

3 . Tournament Format
3.1
The tournament will be hosted on custom rooms/lobbies.
3.2
Teams will be divided into groups depending on the number of
registered teams.
3.3
If the number of registered team exceeds 24 all teams will be
divided into uneven – balanced amount of groups in order to determine the top
16 teams that will be selected for the grand finals.
3.4
If 23 teams or less are registered to participate – the
number of teams will be added into one single group where the top 16 teams will
be selected for the grand finals.
3.5
The final should only consist of 16 teams and the teams
should be selected equally from all the groups after concluding group stages.
3.6
Teams will be divided in the seeding order, for example: if
100 teams are registered there will 4 groups of 25 teas each and each team will
be distributed in the following manner ; Team 1 – Group 1, Team 2 – Group 2.
Team 3 – Group 3, Team 4- Group 4, Team 5 – Group 1, Team 6 – Group 2.

4.1
All players are requested to be
present prior to the times mentioned in the schedules. Under no circumstances
will the attending referees accept teams that attempt to enter the lobby past
the starting time.
4.2
Team changes – line up changes will
NOT be permitted once the registration date closes and groups are
created.
4.3
Time changes – time changes of scheduled
matches is restricted (exceptions allowed only under authority approval).
4.4
Only a 1 – minute grace period will
be provided for teams to be present for their matches.
4.5
Tournament organizers will provide
all match times and schedules on provided social media platforms.
NOTE: It
is the responsibility of the players to be present at the lobby in the stated
time, there will be NO effort in informing players/participants
individually.

5.1
All players need to enter the
provided PUBG Custom ID and Password to join the lobby. The custom lobby
settings will be as below.
5.2
Eligibility
Teams with foreign to local
player ratio 2:4 will be considered eligible to participate in PUBGM
tournaments bound by the LEA. In other words, 4 out of 6 members must be
citizens of Sri Lanka bearing Sri Lankan national identities/passport to
confirm nationality. It is strictly mandatory the foreign to local
player ratio in a team does not change.
5.3
Match Format
5.3.1
There will be 3 maps played by each
group through out the qualifying rounds (until the grand finals) – first map
will be defaulted to Erangel – other two maps will be set to random by a
referee/organizer from the map pool that does not contain Erangel
(Miramar,Vikendi,Sanhok).
5.3.2
The grand finals will consist of 16
teams in the final group and six maps will be played– each map in the pool will
be played ONCE (4 maps: Erangel, Vikendi, Sanhok, Miramar). The
remaining two maps will be picked at random by the organizers from map pool.
5.3.3
All map randomisations by
organizers should be recorded by attending referees and kept for future
verification purposes.
5.4
Matchmaking Settings
The following matchmaking settings apply:

5.5
Usage of in-game flares
Players are allowed to use in-game flares.

Point system for each game will be
as stated below, in the case of a best of 3 games, all 3 games will be scored
accordingly. This scoring system will be counted on kills and in-game placement
basis – determined by the official rules of PMCO – the largest PUBG tournament.

6.1
Tied up
scores between two teams will be judged as such to determine the better scores,
1. Total accumulated kills
across all games.
2. Best performing game based
on total number of kills
3. Total kills in the
last-played game.
4. Placement in the
last-played game.
7 .
General Gameplay Rules
7.1
Abuses and Exploitation – Exploitation of in-game
bugs/glitches or any other unbalanced flaws is strictly prohibited.
7.2
Hacking – Hacking or otherwise
modifying the intended behaviour of game client is prohibited.
7.3
Scripting – The use of scripts is prohibited.
7.4
Use of macros – The use of macros are
prohibited.
7.5
Use of Third-Party
Software –
The use of any third-party add-ons, hooks, programs or wrappers that interact
with or alter the client, it’s appearance or behaviour for the purpose of
gaining unfair advantage over other teams is prohibited.
7.6
Game alias - Each player must have his/her primary nickname
or something very similar as his game name during all matches to be easily
identifiable for referees, broadcasters, and viewers. What counts as similar is
for the LEA Staff to decide. The only additional information allowed in a
player’s name is clan tags or sponsor names.
7.7
Collusion – Collusion, match fixing, bribing a referee or
match official, or any other action or agreement to intentionally influence (or
attempt to influence) the outcome of any match or Event. Other forms of
collusion include:
– Planned Movement: Agreement between 2 or more opposing players to land at
specific locations or to move through the map in a planned way before the match
begins.
– Communication: Sending or receiving signals (both verbal and non-verbal) to
communicate with opposing players.
– Item Dumping: Intentionally dropping items for an opposing player to collect.
8 .
Match Rules
8.1
Devices - Only smartphones are allowed to be used to play the
game. PCs, consoles, tablets, laptops, triggers or any other non-handheld
devices are not allowed. Even using the official emulator on PC is not allowed,
players may only use devices running on Android or iOS.
8.2
Pauses - There will be no pauses in
the game
8.3
Disconnection/Disconnects - Players who disconnect during a match will be able to
reconnect to the game. However, the game will continue during the period.
8.4
Technical Issues - At LAN tournaments, players should raise their hand
and immediately contact Tournament Staff in the event of a Technical Issue.
Staff will then assist to rectify the situation and the necessary action.
Failure to report issues in a timely manner may cause the issue to be
disregarded by the Tournament Staff. At online
tournaments, technical issues will not be considered.
8.5
Video Monitoring - It is mandatory
to turn on live video footage to display player’s presence and activity that
will be monitored by tournament authority/referees online from start to finish.
Failure to comply will result in violation of rules and regulations set by the
LEA respectively.
